SEANOP, which offers affordable services to its customers for catching and processing of aquaculture fish, shocking, storage and utilisation of infrastructure services, will operate according to the following fish catching, breeding and processing timeframe:

Processing Department

This department is planned as 2 different lines as hunting and aquaculture and it is the area where the fish coming from both lines are entered, classified, cleaned, filleted and frozen.

These rooms are used to preserve the freshness of the fish before processing, to prevent spoilage and to ensure that it is processed under hygienic conditions. This line is the first step for every fish species.

Fish acceptance, classification, cleaning, decapitation, filleting

There are two separate processing lines, one for game fish such as anchovy and bonito and the other for salmon and cultured fish such as bream, sea bream and sea bass, designed for the processing of all kinds of game and cultured fish. In these lines, fish are sorted, decapitated, cleaned and filleted.

Vacuum Packaging Unit

is used to ensure that the processed fish are properly packaged before reaching the consumer. On this line, the fish are packaged for delivery to the end consumer.

The Freezing Section

allows the fish to be frozen quickly (- 40 0C), preserves its freshness and quality and makes it possible to protect the products against microbiological spoilage and to store them for a long time.

Cold Air Storages

It ensures that the cleaned, filleted and packaged fish are kept in suitable conditions. Cold stores prevent spoilage and preserve the freshness of fish and include fresh cooling (0°C to 4°C) and frozen storage (-18°C and below) rooms.

The facility, which became operational after the installation of machinery and equipment and the completion of tests, was established in the Sinop Organized Industrial Zone and has a total closed area of 10,040 m2 on a 20,081.50 m2 land.
