Food Safety Management System

Our basic need for sustaining our lives is undoubtedly food. It is an inevitable need to consume food safely, which is our most basic need.

ISO 22000 is a management system standard that covers the requirements for organisations in the food chain to ensure that food is safe at the time of consumption and to control threats to food safety.

The ISO 22000: 2005 standard published by the International Standard Organisation on 01 September 2005 is the first international standard published as a Food Safety management system.

The most important of the basic approaches of the ISO 22000 Standard is HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a point where control can be applied in order to identify and prevent hazards that may occur in the food chain, reduce them to acceptable limits, or eliminate them.
