Occupational Health and Safety Management System

The OHSAS 18001 Standard is a guide in practice for identifying, controlling, minimising and, if possible, eliminating risks that may threaten the safety and health of employees.
One of the most important human resources problems encountered in enterprises is that employees do not have a safe and healthy working environment. In order for businesses to achieve better competitive conditions, they need to carry out planned and systematic studies on occupational health and safety of employees. Standards such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 have focused on quality and environmental management, so a separate standard was needed to ensure Occupational Health and Safety in enterprises and to protect it by continuous improvement. Occupational Health and Safety, which is one of the most important issues in integration with the European Union, also includes approximately all the requirements of this standard in the Labour Law. One of the most important human resources problems encountered in organisations is that employees do not have a safe and healthy working environment.
